SCHOOL LEARNING
In 2021 VolcanicKED co-developed a hands-on online course,
Foundational Field Skills for Earth and Environmental Sciences, for the University of Canterbury, hosted on the edX platform. This course was named in edX's 10 finalists representing best-in-class online learning experiences of 2022
UCX - edX COURSE
VolcanicKED is assisting in the development of Te Pātaka o Rākaihautū Banks Peninsula Geopark. Currently VolcanicKED is researching, designing and consulting on new Geosites (intepretation panels) within the Geopark.

VolcanicKED's Director is Christchurch based earth scientist, Sam Hampton (PhD), With over 15 years experience in teaching and learning in the Earth Sciences, Sam encourages you to delve deeper into the landscapes and geology of Aotearoa.
